april favourites 2013 and happy birthday dianna agron!

Hey everyone! Today is the last day of April so you all know what that means. ;) April Favourites!!! I don't have THAT many exciting favourites this month, but I have a few. Let's get started!

1. My Desk

I absoloutely adore my desk. I got my desk this month when I switched rooms (Which is another favourite, don't worry I get to that later) and I LOVE MY DESK. It seems really weird and creepy to be obsessed with your desk, but I really love it. Ever since I moved, my room has never been big enough for a desk, now that I've switched rooms it is! Which is really exciting!

2. DIY Rings

I know, I know. I already talked about stilababe09's DIY ring video (See post below) . But I just can't get enough of them. They are sooo cute! I made 4 rings, but I only pictured 3 of them. My strawberry one, the lace one, and the heart one. I really only followed a tutorial for the heart one, but you know.. It's ok. I love to make rings and anything that's "DIY" and if you have any DIY suggestions, comment below!

3. Taylor Swift

I know alot of you are sitting there rolling your eyes thinking, "Heather, don't you talk about Taylor Swift enough?". I do. Butttt... I got her first CD at the library, and I'm obsessed. It's such a good cd, and I don't know why a HUGE swiftie like me, never got my hands on the CD. That is going to be my next purchase. It's so amazing. My favourite songs on the CD are: "Cold As You", "Stay Beautiful", and "Should've Said No". :D

4. My New Room!

If you watched my Youtube videos back in 2010, then you know that I was in the room down below. But I moved into the room beside my room and now I've moved back. And I plan on staying here. I love this room, it's so nice and spacious and it's just wonderful. And I finally have a desk!!!

5. Baby Lips; Pink Punch

This lip balm smells so good. The colour is not the bomb.com, but it's ok. I put on a little bit and it looks fine. Not like I've just made out with a clown with pink lips. But the smell is just WONDERFUL.

6. My "Wall of Fun"

I like to call this wall, my wall of fun. I don't know why, but it has so many awesome things that I just love. It has a letter from one of my good internet friends Bailey, a couple Taylor Swift posters, my DIY Perks of being a recycled wallflower ;)And my glee poster.. It's a good wall. :)

I don't have many music favourites but here are the few:

  • Mirrors by Justin Timberlake

I'm still obsessed with this, even though I already mentioned it

  • Tiny Little Bows by Carly Rae Jepsen

I think this song is just adorable and fun.

  • Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

This is just the perfect dance song even though I can't dance.

  • Everybody Hurts by Glee

asdskhsdjdshdlksfhgdkjgfdgfd. Is it just me or is anyone else obsessed with how amazingly flawless Blake Jenner's voice is!?! I just love him. When he sang this in Glee I was flipping out, he sounded so good!

So that's it! Those are my April favourites! See you all next month!

Ahh! I almost forgot, today is the lovely, lovely, LOVELY birthday of one of my favourite actresses EVER.. Dianna Agron. She's 27, and I just wanted to thank her for being one of the most inspirational people I know, and for just being awesome. Whatever YOU do, smile and twirl. <3

    la de la..

Hey Everyone! Long time no talk! I haven't posted on here in a while, and I just thought I would talk about whatever today..

So, it's a day off of school today, and I did pretty much nothing. I made a few rings though! Using stilababe09's wire ring tutorial, and I'm super stoked to wear them to school! No homework this weekend which is.. You all don't even understand how excited I am to not have homework! I also just watched Gwenyth Paltrow on Ellen, I can I just say I wish I was her. To be married to Chris Martin.. asdfghjkl.

I've been really into room decor and things of that nature. It' so much fun! I've also re-switched my rooms! Again! About 7 months ago, I switched from the room I'm currently in, to the one opposite my current room. If that makes sense. So now, I'm back in my old room, and it's great!

I did a doll photoshoot a couple of weeks ago, so here's a few photos from that:

So that's all I'd like to say for now! The next time you all will hear from me is probably for my April favourites! Have a great day! Bye!

    march favourites 2013.

Hey hey! It's time for my March favs! Is it weird that I had that line planned out in my head? Anways..

It's time for what I've been loving this March!

    1. To-Do Chalkboard

So this is basically my life since I got it on vacation during March break. It's this really awesome jukebox shaped chalkboard that I got in the dollar section at Walmart. I'm so obsessed with it because I've always wanted a chalkboard but I couldn't find one small enough, but this is the best!

    2. One of a kind Show

I rarely ever read the newspaper but when I do, I find some interesting stuff. I came across this article talking about a one of a kind show coming soon to an area near mine! When I showed my parents they thought it was a great idea! We found some many cool one of a kind pieces! I got one thing that I'm absolutely in love with. Here's the link. Isn't it cute?

    3. China Glaze Nail Polishes

If you are a nail polish fanatic like me, then you know China Glaze is one of the best nail polish brands out there. So when I was on vacation, my cousin and I dropped by the local Sally's Beauty Supply to check out all the 50% off clearance stuff. And there was this WHOLE bin of nice China Glaze polish for $0.99-$3.29 each! But even better! At the check out every nail polish we got including the $3.29 ones were all $0.49 each! What a steal! I have no idea if this sale is still going on, but if it is, go take advantage! (In photo from left to right: Jungle Queen, Starboard, Exotic Encounters, Fast Track).

    4. Carrie Diaries Inspired Bag

I made this bag a couple months ago, and I knew that when I went on vacation I was going to bring it with me. I brought it with me everywhere, and I love it. Best DIY I've ever made.

    5. Purple Converse

I'm always very lazy when it comes to putting on shoes. Hence why my old pair of converse have a rip on the side that makes it look like a dog went at my shoe. But it was my own doing. However, when I went on vacation we went to this Converse outlet and I got a new pair! They're just plain purple and I love them! I just hope I don't fall back into my lazy pattern... :P

    6. Myrtle Beach, SC

When my parents broke the news to me that we wouldn't be going to Florida this year, I was broken. Not actually, but you know. We had been going to Florida for as long as I remember and I didn't want to go to South Carolina. What was even in South Carolina? But, I actually enjoyed myself! We brought some of our family (See post here. And I really loved it! Go check out South Carolina!

    7. Coldplay Live 2012.

I got this movie for Christmas 2012, and I never watched it.. Why? Not because I don't like Coldplay (I love them), but I can never sit through a movie, but this I actually did. It was soooooooooooooooooooooo amazing. It was so good. I love all the songs, especially Viva La Vida. I also learned that Chris Martin's voice is ALOT deeper than I thought. Which is not bad at all. Not at all.

Alright, those are my non-music favourites, so here are my favourite songs of March:

  • On Top of the World and Radioactive by Imagine Dragons

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THESE SONGS SOOO MUCH. That's all.

  • Tell Me Why by Taylor Swift

This song is old-ish, but I love it. It's soo good.

  • Mirrors by Justin Timberlake

    He's done it again.

  • When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars

I don't know, this song is just amazing.

And those are all my March favourites! See you all next month!

not so long post + vacation!

Hey everyone! I haven't talked to you all in a while! How's everyone's life going? Mine's a-ok. The last time I posted was on Chris Martin's birthday which was so long ago! Anyways.

Last week was my spring break and it was fun! We spent it with my aunt, uncle and cousins and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! We went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. One thing I really wanted to do but didn't get the chance to was thrift shopping. (Hey Macklemore, can we go thrift shopping?) I love to go thrift shopping, especially in places that I haven't been before, let alone a country I don't even live in! I'm always on the hunt for a nice, good quality polaroid camera, but I've yet to succeed.

Here are some photos that I took during my trip:

I also developed a new TV obsession; Gossip Girl. I won't go into too much detail, but it's amazing. Here more about it in my upcoming March favourites!

Now, I have to go finish up some research things for my French project.. Au revoir!

    happy birthday chris martin!

So for those of who didn't know, today is Chris Martin's (the lead singer of Coldplay) birthday! Which is exciting!

I've always known of Coldplay, but in the last year or so, I've been loving them. The music that this band produces is just flawless.

Just before this, I was watching "Coldplay Live 2003". AMAZING. Coldplay sounds so good live. And Chris Martin is so theatrical, and fun! I have to see them before I check out.

Not too much to say, but thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Chris Martin for writing some of my favourite songs today.

    February Favourites!

Hey everyone! It's that time of the month again! Not THAT time of the month, but it's my February Favourites! This month I wasn't into too much, but I still wanted to share with you all my favourites:

    1. Struck by Lightning by Chris Colfer

LOVE this book. It's so witty and funny, and I love that Chris Colfer wrote it. I haven't through the entire book, but so far I love it. It's completely relateable; a boy who lives in a small town and has big city dreams; it's perfect. It's basically me in a book, except I'm not a boy! I live in this small town, and I have BIG dreams that await me in New York City. Anyways, go check out Struck by Lightning!

    2. Birdy

So.. Another recent obsession is Birdy. Never heard of her? Well, she's this FANTASIC, AMAZING, AWESOME singer who's from England. Could it get any better? Her songs are so nice, calming and slow and just perfection. However, the songs on her debut cd are all covers (except for maybe one) of other artists songs. But that's fine with me! A few of my favourites are: "1901" (by the way, check out the video for this one, it's amazing.) "People Help The People", "Skinny Love" and "Young Blood". All so incredible.

    3. Medley Crunch Cereal

OMG. This is honestly the BEST cereal ever! It has oats, and flakes, and cheerios, and it's just so good! I love it with milk (the obvious) and cranberry juice for breakfast in the morning. Sadly, you can only get this in the States (my family and I got this on a day trip to Buffalo) so I can't get any until March. But I'll live. If you get the chance to try this, please do! You won't be sorry.

    4. Rings

I love rings. For the longest time, I hated jewelry. I didn't like necklaces or bracelets or even.. rings! But recently stopping by Forever 21, it's hard not to leave the store without dashing to the jewelry section to check out the latest statement necklaces or the dainty rings. So I've learned to love rings!

    5. Halls

Being sick sucks. I don't get sick too often, but when I do get sick it's hardcore sick. So I got this huge pack of Halls at the grocery store and they are really good! The flavour I got was Strawberry.

    6. Flower Nail Polish

Is it just me or does anyone else love Drew Barrymore? I love how far she's come, and I think she's awesome. So when I found out that she was coming out with a makeup line at Walmart (US of course) I had to try something! The nail polish I got is in the color "Gorgeous Gerbera". It's a pretty, opaque baby pink. Perfect for spring.

Those are all my non- music favourites (with the exception of Birdy), but here are my favourite songs of February:

  • Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons

This song is sooo good, and I love it. It's so catchy and I love it.

  • Violet Hill by Coldplay

I was recently watching Coldplay perform at Glastonbury Festival 2011 and they were sooooo good. They sung this, and I fell in love.

  • I Would by One Direction

This is just super catchy. And cute.

  • Fix You by Coldplay

I don't even know why I didn't have this song on my i-Pod before. It's so good.

  • Hung Up by Hot Chelle Rae

Love Hot Chelle Rae. They're awesome. When I heard this song, I splurged $1.29. I wasn't sorry.

And that, is my February Favourites! See you all next month for my March Favourites!

    viva la primadonna.

Haven't been on here in a little bit! Not too much has gone on since I last blogged, but here are a few things..

Valentine's Day came and left and I didn't even care. I normally sulk around hating on Valentine's Day because I don't have my own personal Chord Overstreet. And if you don't know who that is, my own personal Brad Pitt. But I actually was happy on Valentine's. I wore my hearts blouse, and my french teacher gave the whole class heart lollipops. That was fine for me. Oh! I also filmed a video for the cause One Billion Rising! Which was SOOO much fun. I wasn't asked to make the video, I just thought it'd be fun to film. One Billion Rising is a cause, and on Febuary 14th 2013, women around the world danced for women who wouldn't be able to. I'm only 14, but it was really fun and here's the link.

Did anyone else watch the most recent Glee episode? OMG. OMG. OMG. That was just.. Too much. First of all, Rachel could be pregnant? I can't comprehend that! Last season she was such a goody-goody, and it's too much. But Jarley. C'mon Jake! I honestly think that Jake is truly blind to not see that Ryder is IN LOVE with Marley. And that kiss. Oh my gosh. That just opened a HUGE can of worms. Ryder should go for Tina, they're both not getting what they want, so why not? Eh. Personal opinion. Better yet, it's Chord Overstreet's 24th birthday. That's exciting! I guess. I have yet to find a boy who looks like him. I honestly don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. But y'know.. I'll hope and dream.

I've been into photography a little more recently, here are two of my favourites:

I've really been into DIY projects recently, I haven't put any to the test yet, but here's a few of ideas I want to do:

(from left to right: Chalkboard, Heart Journal, Heart Elbow Pads, and Instagram Collage)

    *I don't own the 4 DIY photos*

Alright, I'm going to go, but I'll see you most likely for my Febuary Favourites! See ya!

Currently listening to: "Viva La Primadonna" - Coldplay vs. Marina and the Diamonds

and as long as I've got my suit and tie.

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a bit, so I thought why not post a post?

Yesterday we had snow day which I'm still thinking was a gift from the heavens. I was SOOO happy to wake up and go back to sleep. It was the best feeling ever.

I did some baking today. Made something called Valentine Bark.

Did that make you hungry? ;)

On another note, my town FINALLY opened a Micheal's Arts and Crafts Store. I went to the grand opening and bought a couple things, for a good deal I might add!

Another thing is.. I'm very conflicted with my feelings for certain boys. I like one, and then I don't. Then I like another one and then I don't. It's insane. These are times when I wonder if this is the reason I got a 60 in Science. Yes. I am aware of the failure I am in Science. I hate it with a passion. It was my lowest mark, and I blame my science teacher. She was a horrible teacher, and I just.. Guess what? Now she's my gym teacher. The heavens are very testy with me.

Currently watching Ella Enchanted. This my friends, is one of my all time favourite movies. It's so cute, and I loved Anne Hathaway's performance, and it's just amazing.

Speaking of amazing, the Grammy's are on tomorrow and I'm so excited! I'm basically a sucker for award shows, and this one just happens to have Taylor Swift, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, fun., and Bruno Mars. I'm a happy camper.

While I was flipping through my Seventeen magazine, I came across this article about a blog called Flashes of Style. It's supeeerr cool. It's so fashion forward and exciting! You all should go check her out!

Did anyone see Glee this Thursday? Gosh, Brittany. GO BACK TO SANTANA. SAMCEDES NEEDS TO HAPPEN. What I don't and probably will never understand is the fact that Sam and Mercedes never got a proper breakup scene, which doesn't make sense. asdfghjkl. This is very frustrating for us Samcedians. Wooo for fandoms! But seriously. I hate Bram. With a passion. Again, maybe this is why I got a 60 in Science.

Alright, I'm going to end this post, and I hope you all are having a nice Saturday night! I'm reblogging on Tumblr and listening to Suit and Tie.

    Sunday, February 3, 2013

    so cold, so cold.

Who knows where my title's from? ;)

Why hello there! How creepy did that sound?

I thought it was a good time to post something new since it's my last day of doing nothing since I have to go back to yelling teachers, dirty looks and smelly bathrooms. *insert eye roll*.

Is it weird that I like going to school? As much as I trash talk it, it's not that bad. Except seeing you-know-who.

Tomorrow I find out if I aced my exams, or if I'll becoming very friendly with summer school.

I've been recently obsessing over Coldplay. And asdfghjkl. They are pure perfection. I could probably just sit in my room all day and jam out to songs like "Violet Hill", or "Hurts Like Heaven". My favourite Coldplay song has to be "The Scientist". Don't even get my started on my love for this song. I learned how to play it on the piano. And I never learn how to play songs on the piano unless I'm totally head over heels in love with the song.

Speaking of piano, I'm learning a new song.. Skinny Love. That's another song that I grew a love for in litterly 10 minutes. I had heard about the song in one of the many Youtube videos I watch daily, and I decided to look it up Friday morning, and every since then all you hear me singing around the house is : "If you love me, won't you let me know," or.. "Come on skinny love just last the year, pour a little salt, we were never here.. My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer,". That's pretty much that.

I was looking through my photos from January, and I realized I took SO MANY. I'd show you all, but I basically FLOOD this blog with photos, so I'm taking a break today.

So exams are over.. and.. Ooooh! I just remembered! My Carrie bag! For those of you who watch The Carrie Diaries, then you know all about Carrie's bag, and I'm pretty much in love with it, so I made my own interpretation of it! It's a bit blurry when you look closely, but hey! Hey! What can I say! Don't judge my quoting of Led Zeppelin.

Speaking of the Carrie Diaries, Did anyone see last week's episode? Sebastian you turd. Gosh. Carrie did one thing, and he went all woolly mammoth. I really do hope they get back to where they were. Or I'll flip sugar. I'm very protective of my OTP's. #ihavenolife. Speaking of OTP's.. Samcedes. Naked. Not together, well yes together but not THAT way. Was it just me or did anyone else go cuckoo bananas? I was fangirling so hard inside. It was just.. "I thank Sam because if he didn't put my video online I wouldn't be here in LA." Something like that. It was 5 seconds of heaven. I really hope they go to prom together even though Merecede's already graduated. Ryan Murphy, make it happen.

Alright, I think I've been talking for gosh knows how long. Let me know how your day went!

    ~Heather~

    January 2013 favourites.

Hey everyone! I've been watching alot of Youtube beauty gurus, make their January 2013 Favourites. Now, I don't wear makeup, so I'm just going to show you all my favourite things of January 2013:

    1. The Carrie Diaries

Oh my gosh. This show is honestly perfection. Everything about it is just.. asdfghjkl. I love it! The fact that it's in the 80's, is just.. dskdsdsdjshd. I love it. I honestly want a friend like Walt. I don't know anyone who's "like Walt" nor do I know anyone who dresses like that. It's sucky. But Sebastian. Marry me? He's such an idiot for letting Carrie go just like that, but THERE BETTER BE SOME LIGHT AT THE END OF THAT TUNNEL. The book.. Is also phenomenally written.

    2. Taylor Swift's Enchanted Wonderstruck

This perfume has slowly made it's way to my favourite perfume this month. It smells so musky, and floral and pretty and I'm just.. I love it. It smells amazing. That's all I can say.

    3. Glee: The Music of Season 4, Volume 1

This cd is absolute perfection. Darren Criss sings about 4 times, and I'm happy. The best part is Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet sing together in Heroes. It's the best. Best $11.99 spent.

    4. Fuzzy Socks

These socks right here are the softest things ever. I practically live in them.

    5. Cue Cards.

With all the preparing for exams (which are done by the way) these things were my best friends. You all should see how many of these I filled up. It was crazyyyyy.

    6. Sinful Colors: Mint Apple Nail Polish

This is one of the only polishes that I wore this month and it's one of the prettiest.

    7. Magazines

You know how some people collect stamps or snow globes? Yeah, well.. I collect magazines. I'm an impulse magazine buyer. Don't judge me!

    8. Temple Run 2

    Better then the first one.

Those are my current favourites of January 2013! But I'm not done yet! Here are some of my favourite songs this month:

  • Suit and Tie by Justin Timberlake ft. Jay-Z.

All I have to say is: What a comeback.

  • Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft. Wanz.

I don't normally like songs like this, but oh my gosh. I love this song.

  • Skinny Love by Bon Iver.

I can't even... This song is soo amazing. At first I thought it was about a girl who wanted to be skinny, but turns out it's actually about a relationship... It's soooo good.

  • Monday, January 28, 2013

    asdfghjkl i love tv.

Just saw Chord Overstreet on ET Canada, and the Carrie Diaries and 90210 are on tonight.

thank you, thank you, thank you. #don'tjudgeme.

    wonderland.

Greetings! I haven't talked to you all in SUCH a long time! But you know, exams. Ugh. Just typing that makes me cringe. I hate exams. But what's worse is summatives. We already have an exam, so what is the need? I have one more exam.. on Tuesday. It's English, which you really can't study for. I'm pretty sure I bombed my Science exam.

Is it weird that I'm going to miss my first semester classes? I actually enjoyed going to my Science class, even though the teacher sucked. I loved laughing with the people around me, and ugh. I hope second semester is just as happy for me. I have Math. My second least favourite subject, we all know Science tops that..

I'm still in the process of making my Carrie bag. I have my nail polishes that are set, but the bag. I haven't been to any thrift stores in AGES, so I really need to get to one. I'm sooooo excited for this bag. You don't even know.

I've recently been loving Pogo's Disney remixes. They're super cute, and catchy. Here's three of my favourites:

  • Alice.
  • Wishery.
  • Upular.

I haven't painted my nails in what feels like forever. I hate looking at bare nails! But exams puts everything on hold. >.<

Well, I don't have too much to say today. But the SAG awards are coming on soon, and I'm super stoked because my guilty pleasure is pretty much watching award shows. I'm also really excited for the Grammys. Taylor Swift and Mumford and Sons in one night? Count me in!

While I sit here waiting for the clock to tick 8, here is what I'll be doing for the next 31 minutes. Thank you Netflix.
